Every concrete floor contains different amounts of minerals and varying porosity resulting in more vibrant colorations and shades on the same floor. For use with interior and exterior concrete that has cured at least 28 days as well as concrete countertops and many masonry cement and statuary products. For older excessively power washed or mechanically profiled concrete the surface must be completely intact with no exposed aggregate or sand particles.

Sandstone usually has more golds or yellows than buffs and sometimes some burnt ambers. Newly poured concrete can be acid stained anytime from 20 28 days after the pour or once the concrete has achieved a uniform light gray color.
